“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is a short story about a man born as a 70 year old baby, who gets younger at the same rate that everyone else gets older.
Αs Benjamin becomes younger with the passing years, his family wonders why he persists in the embarrassing folly of living in reverse. They blame Benjamin for his peculiarity – they wish he could just start acting normally – but Benjamin takes the whole thing in stride. He goes to war, marries, runs a successful business, and even attends kindergarten. However, as he gets smaller and smaller, he forgets all the things he’s ever done in life.
This edition includes more short stories by Francis Scott Fitzgerald.
Francis Scott Fitzgerald was an American fiction writer, whose works illustrated the flamboyance and excess of the Jazz Age. While he achieved popular success, fame, and fortune in his lifetime, he did not receive much critical acclaim until after his death.
